SKAL OC Members and guests enjoyed an entertaining dinner at Descanso - A Modern Taqueria - that celebrates authentic Mexican flavors and recipes executed on a traditional “Plancha” Benihana style.
Menu entree choices included, Pollo A La Plancha (chicken breast), Crispy Carnitas Skillet (Seared slow cook pork) and Jumbo Shrimp...all very delicioso!
President Julius opened the meeting with past President Bob Zonitch giving the SKAL toast.
VP James acknowledged member birthdays for October / November.
The 50/50 raffle of $100, facilitated by Pam Ross, was won by soon-to-be new member, Jim Holden, with lottery tickets (thank you Carl) going to Julius x2, Ross x2 and Michaeleen Valen.
